SRC Chairman Participates in Bike Week 2010 with Foreign Visitor
"SRC Chairman Alex Ramirez" renewed his World Tour (2006) - (www.BKWMCT2006.com) friendship with Austrian State Trooper Theo Kelz (www.theo-kelz.at) who is the World's first Bi-Lateral Hand Transplant. As a Bomb Technician, he was tasked to remove a confirmed devise from an occupied elementary school. Upon removing the device and placing into the "tube", the device detonated and vaporized both his hands and damaged an eye. He became an instant National Hero, but would not settle for the stainless steel claws because he couldn't ride his motorcycle.
For eight years he wrote to medical centers and Universities until the Austria University of Innsbruck, notified him they would try and had a transplant donor. They successfully transplanted two hands which today, enable him to pursue his passion of driving his motorcycle.
