Wayne M. O. LaBree, 69, died Oct. 11, 2011, in Largo, Fla. He was born May 18, 1942, in Old Town, ME;  son of Otis N. and Beatrice N. (Rice) LaBree.  Wayne was predeceased by a wife Donna (Hoar) LaBree, and by his parents and a brother David Wayne is survived by his wife Veronica (Snowdon) presently of Largo and children, Michele (LaBree) Daniels and her husband, Tim, of Brewer, ME. and Matthew and his wife, Stacy (Jardine) LaBree, of Hampden, ME.; also surviving is a grandchildren, Ryan Elliott, stationed at Dover (NH) Air Force Base, and Katelan Daniels of Sanford, ME, Chase Daniels of Brewer, ME., Cameron and Alexis LaBree of Hampden, NH.  Wayne has siblings, Patricia Sullivan of Cape Coral, FL., and Donald LaBree of ME. as well as a nephew, five nieces, and friends too numerous to mention.
    Wayne was a founding member and former president of The Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club which has over 20,000 members in 30 countries.
    Wayne joined the U.S. Navy for four years in 1961.  Returning to Maine. he became a Sheriff in the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Department and rose to the rank of Captain.  Upon leaving the SO he went on to own LaBree Associates a private Security Firm.
    He was a ship’s captain in later life, possessing Multi-ton and Tug captain’s licensing.  Wayne operated Cruise Vessels in the waters of the State of Maine and was a long time member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary.  Upon relocating to Florida, he was a substitute Captain to the local Dinner Cruise Ships.

10:40  Wayne’s Friends assemble at Eagle Lake Park, Largo *
10:45  Wayne’s Ashes riding with one of his best friends Urban Dyer and accompanied by his family and friend Chuck Shuman leave Wayne’s home to meet with the ssembled friends at Eagle Lake Park for “one last ride”
10:52  entourage leaves Eagle Lake Park for Ride through Clearwater Beach and the Gulf Beaches South to Madeira Beach
11:00 guest not riding in motorcycle entourage meet at Post 273 **
11:35 Wayne’s entourage arrives at the American Legion Post 273, Madeira   Beach Fl.
11:55 Introduction of “Family” by Peter Domiziano
11:58   Few words of Remembrance by Chuck Shuman
12:05  Few Words of Remembrance by Urban Dyer
12:10  Those who wish may order lunch (cash)
12:55  Wayne’s Family boards boat and leaves dock for ash dispersal out in     Gulf***
