About Me
Born. Then the next nearly 40 years, worked at two golf courses, Innis Arden GC (CT) and Bald Peak Colony Club (NH). Got respectable and worked for Putnam Trust Co (CT) before becoming a Police Officer, Greenwich (CT) PD. Assigned at various times for various periods to Marine Divisions, Patrol Divisions and Traffic Divisions including motorcycle assignment. Became Major Accident Investigation Technician. Assigned as armorer and co-captained department pistol team. Intense competitor in PPC and NRA 3-Gun with several recorded ties to National PPC course records. Retired from Greenwich (CT) P.D. in 1987
The last 20 + years, restarted educational pursuits. Received BS in CrimJ, followed by MS ED and MS ECDev. Attended Law School for a year between sessions.
Certified by State of CT to Teach pre-k through 8th grades.
Taught kindergarten in Danbury (CT) Public Schools, Network Administrator and Laptop Computer Technician for Kent (CT) School, Teacher Instructor for Laptops in Schools Program of Microsoft and Toshiba (national).
Joined Blue Knights in '78, started chapter (CT VII), joined NEC Board as Secretary in 1982 and then Secr-Treas in 1984, in 1986 became Chairman of NEC and in 1993 became Intl Rep until "retired" in 2000 and relocated to Florida.
Joined BK FL XVII but couldn't keep my mouth shut.
Fought and won small wars with Prostate Cancer in 2002 and Colon Cancer in 2009. Watching for the next sneaky insurgent.
Substitute taught in Canterbury School (FL). Dispatched for Belleair (FL) P.D. Gunsmith for custom gunbuilder and refinisher in Safety Harbor Florida before returning to golf and motorcycles. Now proud owner of five older BMW's and one sidecar.
The rest is history being made.
